Roma Soul Food at an Event on International Humanitarian Aid and Development

Maribor, Slovenia, October 20th 2025

We presented the Roma Soul Food project at an event in Maribor dedicated to international humanitarian aid and development cooperation.

Alongside the project, we also highlighted initiatives supporting Roma communities in developing countries, with a focus on solidarity, empowerment, and sustainable approaches to community development. By connecting cultural heritage with global challenges, the presentation demonstrated how storytelling, food, and community engagement can contribute to broader development goals.

This event was an opportunity to situate Roma Soul Food within the global context of social inclusion and cultural resilience, underlining the power of heritage in building more inclusive and equitable societies.
