“How to prepare carp.”

Oršoš is in his forties and belongs to the Roma community in Monoštor. He highlighted his deep love for food preparation, especially recipes meant for large groups that gather the entire extended family around the same table. During the interview, with the help of a young child from another family, he prepared fish stew, detailedly explaining the process, the order of adding ingredients, and the purpose of each step. In addition to fish stew, he spoke about the preparation of other dishes, such as beans, goulash, and more, as well as the culinary rituals of the Roma community in Monoštor.
